You lucky dog! Assuming that your not just out of gas. Now no excuses to the wife are necessary. The mower has to go to the shop. You know it will be weeks before it will be fixed. All that golf and fishing. This calls for careful planning. Get busy!

Check the fuel filter and the air filter. If either of these are clogged up, the mower will not run. If they are fine, try replacing the spark plug.

You should first look to make sure there is some gas in the gas tank. Then look for any loose wires. Then I would have the battery checked.
