You should ask them first on which basis they have done so because they could have false information. Then you should gather everybody involved and clear your position-accusator present as well.

If it's a legal issue, consult a lawyer. If it's personal and the relationship is important to you, deny the accusation and set out to disprove it. But sometimes the accuser is just paranoid or unreasonable and no matter what you say they will not believe you

First, get evidence and witnesses to prove your innocence. Secondly, find out what the motivation of the accuser is. Are they accusing you to avoid trouble? If so, find proof of their guilt. Are they only doing it out of malice? Demonstrate their motives to make false accusations.

all this to get my friends back....if they're not your friends then just don't bother, but if they're ruining your reputation, and you want to take revenge, spread rumours abt them too,or just nicely let them know they're mistaken and have no right to say so when its not true........

just deny it, just keep insisting on the truth. If you are really telling the truth, then you have nothing to fear. If your accusers are your friends then just keep insisting on the truth, and ask them what basis they are giving this accusation on............................................................to be continued in nxtpost

You should calmly deny that you had anything to do with whatever it is that you are being accused of doing. If you have witnesses or other proof, you should bring that forward.

If someone has made a false claim against you that has somehow hurt your reputation (depending on the situation) you can go after them for either liable or slander. If someone made a false claim to the police, they can serve jail time for making a false report.
