What should someone say in order to be a good character reference in court?

Well, honestly you should just tell the truth. Explain how the person interacts day by day, how reliable or dependable they are, and similar information. Giving false testimony is against the law, so only agree to be a good character reference if you want to tell the truth!

The judge or one of the attorneys will interview the character witness and ask specific questions with regard to the character of the individual in question.
