Check your owner manual and make sure that it is approved for four wheel towing. You can find the information online also. If you don't check you could insure that you get ticketed for improper vehicle placement especially when crossing state lines and stopping at weight stations along the way.

We always double check and make sure that the tail lights, turn signals and brake lights are all working right. If we go on a really long trip we will check at least once a day for safety reasons. Also we stay in the slow lane on the highway.

Ya'll should've mentioned giving a good distance between RV and vehicle in front cuz of extra weight will take longer to stop.  add a comment

Luckily towing a dingy behind an RV doesn't require a lot of maintenance. You should make sure there is a little grease on the hitch ball whenever you are towing. Tow dolly's should have their wheel bearings repacked annually according to manual on towing basics. Not too bad at all!
