Keep in mind that it will be a long process. The dentures cannot be fited until the swelling has gone done from the extractions.

Not true. Last week, I got something called "Immediate Dentures". Went through the whole process of getting an upper dentures, including fitting. Then 3 front teeth were pulled, with the new upper being place right over freshly-opened sockets. Had to wear 24 hours without removal. So far, so good.  add a comment

Above all, ask your dentist if you have any concerns about keeping your sockets clean & healthy. Ask your dentist about the benefits of dental implants as opposed to dentures.

Know that if you have made that decision for sure that dentures are a very big headache and sometimes cause you more problems with your gums and your bone loss.

If you get them all out at once, you will need a week or so off to get over pain and learn to talk with your dentures. Overall the process from start to finish will take about 6 months. It's worth it, you will feel better about yourself.

Getting you teeth extracted can be a traumatic experience for some people. There is swelling after the teeth are removed and usually a patient is given a set of temporary dentures. Molds are made of the gum line so the new set of dentures will fit snuggly and comfortably. Open communication with your dentist is very important.

As far as possible avoid tooth extraction. If your tooth is badly danaged or has a cavity, see yout dentist nad try treatment of root canal. Extractopn leads to loosening of adjescent teeth and root canal treatment saves your damaged tooth. Go for dentures only if whole toorh/teeth is/are removed.
