Coccidia is a parasitic infection usually found in dogs and cats. It causes runny diarrhea at times with blood. It is usually most dangerous for the very young or small. Rabbits could perhaps contract it if there are exposed to affected animals feces. Vets should see rabbits with any diarrhea.

Coccidia can occur in most small animals. It is due to stress. If your rabbit is outside please bring them inside as stress can kill a rabbit quickly. Coccidia can be cured with medication from your vet.
