There is no evidence that the chemicals that get into you system as a result of hair coloring will be present in the amounts harmful to the baby.

There really is no for sure answer if it is safe or not, so it's best that you just don't do it. Organic and natural hair dyes can be safe but it would be best if you consulted your doctor first. You never know what is bad for your baby since it can be absorbed into your breast milk.

Breast feeding has no connection with hair coloring. The hair color should not be sticky and proper care should be taken to keep away the kid from hair colored areas.

if you ignore your hair to colour then it is safe for your self. because breast feeding is time when lots hormonal changes occur in the body, and hair colour contain ammonia, which is not good for the your self, when you are passing through this level. it is quite hot and may damage your infant also.

Some of the chemicals, from hair color, may enter into the mother's system. Research has shone it has very little effect on the infant. Of course, the scalp needs to be healthy when choosing to color your hair to prevent larger amounts from entering into your system. If your scalp is irritated or has any sores then you should wait.

Absolutely, when you color your hair there is very little if any chemical actually absorbed by the scalp. These trace amounts do not carry into breastmilk. I would not suggest breastfeeding while you are getting your hair bleached, because the strong smell can make a person light headed and breastfeeding while lightheaded is a bad idea.
