These birds eat cultivated crop seeds mainly. They normally eat their food off the ground. Their diets include seeds from peas, corn, wheat, millet, sorghum, grass, and wheat. Doves are people friendly and will nest in garages, patios, porches-among many. They like nesting in flower pots or similiar containers, too.
