The treatment is probably going to be laser treatment. There might be some irritation afterwards when the skin is slightly burned from laser.

First, depending on the size of the vessels worked on, there may be pain involved that may take a few days to subside. Drugs may be prescribed to treat this. Also, after the operation, swelling and making sure that sutures and merging of vessels stay intact until they are healed will entail elevation of the leg for a short time.

Signs, elevation makes the pain worse, to stop the pain is to stop the activity or keep foot lower than heart. Make an appointment with a vascular surgeon. Need surgery, it is important to stop smoking, he won't , surgeons won't fix the because smoking makes the surgery fail.

The outcome of having vascular bypass surgery on your legs should be an improvement in circulation. A decrease in pain and swelling should be expected.
