You can expect humid weather with a chance of thunderstorms. Highs will be in the high 80's. Crowds will be at their lowest levels in September because foreign tourists typically travel during the summer months and local students are in school.

Disney World is less crowded in September than the summer months or holiday periods. All rides should remain open. The weather in September is can be risky. September is in hurricane season and Florida does receive hurricanes. The average temperature in Orlando is 92 degrees (high) and 72 degrees (low).

Since school has started back I do not think that you will get in any crowds and the weather should be warm. September is a good time to go.

This is the best month to visit DisneyWorld, because it's one of the least crowded of the year. Beware of hurricanes, I would suggest purchasing travel insurance.

The beginning of September to sometime in November are some of the lowest attendance periods of the year. The weather that time of the way is usually pretty hot and muggy.

It is fun for children and adults, I personally would not bother with the Epcot park though. If everyone in the group is tall enough, check out Universal Orlando.
