If the cat will come close to you, try to get it inside the house. Otherwise, get a padded box or a some form of shelter where the cat can make a nest. Put out food and water and change the water on a daily basis. If you can't take care of the cat, call a humane society.

Try to find a rescue or no kill shelter that can take the cat and foster her and the kittens. If you are able to foster her you could do that, just be sure to get her spayed after the kittens are weaned.

1. Take to the vet and make find out how far along it is. 2. Register with the pound and vet. 3. Do not allow it access to small enclosed spaces or it will have the babies there.

1ST, call the vet to see if they can help, since she's a stray. It depends on how far along she is and what kind of physical shape she is in. Cats are great mothers, so mostly all she will need is love, food and safety.

I would do one of two things: Try to capture her and keep her in a safe place inside your house until she has the kittens or, capture her and take her to the nearest "no kill" animal shelter like a humane society. Either way is safer than leaving her outside to have the kittens.
