if your sony tv won't turn on, then you should probably throw it out the window and buy a samsung. If that does not work, then you should try re adjusting the cable attached to the back of the TV

Well if your t.v. is not working, make sure you see if the wires are adjusted in properly. If they are and it still won't turn on, then you need to call a technician.

First check the situations given in your troubleshooting manual. (Is the tv on? Is there a bad conection with the power cord? etc.) If this doesn't solve the problem you should contact a service technician to investigate the problem.

Unplug the TV and plug it back in. If this doesn't work, contact a TV repair person or contact Sony if the TV is still under warranty.

Well, I guess you will need to plug it off. That is what i did with my old TV anyways. You must contact to Sony or a trusted TV repairman, though, if it bothers you to plug it on and off each time. Hope it helps, PS: It is extremely dangerous to open up a TV, be careful.

First check the outlet with something else, to see if the outlet works. Next be sure that all the cables are in place. Read the manual in troubleshooting section. If none of this works call the store where you purchased it might still be under warranty. Also be sure that on the remote the snooze button is not on.

Try unplugging the Sony TV for about 15 seconds, if 15 seconds isn't long enough try unplugging for longer about 1 minute. Try using power button on the front of the TV instead of remote. If nothing else you can call Sony and they will have troubleshooting steps they can walk you through.
