If the goat seems severely injured, unable to use the leg you should consult with a Vet. If the goat is only mildly lame then check for open wounds, clean any if found, and try to keep the goat from being to active to give it time to heal. Goats are hardy animals and often heal quickly and well.

There is a good chance that if the goat is acting fine,then there is nothing wrong with the goat. Just to be sure,I would advise that you take the goat to the clinic and get some x-rays done,just to make sure there are no breaks. This way you can be sure that there is nothing wrong.
