What should I do if I'm in a group of friends that nobody likes?

I don't think I can ever be popular if I keep hanging around with them.

You should never care about what other people think of your friends. If those friends make you happy, then don't worry about being popular. Be yourself and if that isn't "popular" then those popular people don't know what they are missing!

The best friends you will ever have are those that you have lots in common with. If you're unhappy with your current friends, join clubs/activities you do enjoy and start hanging out with those kids. You'll be happier and find being in the popular group won't matter.

At certain ages it's hard to resist the desire to be popular but you are better off choosing friends who are good for you rather than worrying about being popular.

If you have real friendships, you already have the popularity you need - people that you like also like you. This is more valuable than the stereotype of "popularity".

Being part of the "popular group" is a very superficial thing. The types of friends you want should be the ones who care about you and are willing to help you when you need it. Friendship is a very precious thing and if you just want to be part of a popular group you don't actually want a true friend.

Figure out if it is just small little pieces of drama that are causing them to be unliked, or if there is a logical reason. Dont put youself out there to get hurt unless you know that they can be trusted. Good luck!
