Keep your toe clean. You don't want to get it infected. Wash it and cover it a bit, but also gave it some air.

If a person has torn off a toenail the best thing to do is to disinfect it with alcohol; try to keep it as clean as possible.

You will need to first stop any bleeding and hold ice on the area for 20 minutes and then use an antiobiotic cream and bandages to proect the area from infection.
