First the best thing to do would be to see a urologist to find out what may be causing the loss of bladder control. If you are a woman, there are some physical therapists that specialize in pelvic floor issues and they can teach you certain exercises to do as well as use certain electrical devices to help.

If you also have back pain or numbness in the legs your bladder control problem could be due to pinched nerves from a disc problem. In this case go to the doctor and let him order a scan of some type to look for these abnormalities so he can recommend a course of action before it's too late.

The first thing to do is have your doctor evaluate you for a bladder infection. It's easy to find out, and it's easy to treat. Go from there.

You should go to a urologist who will check to see if you have an infection or an overactive bladder. There are Kegel exercises you can do to strengthen the muscles around your urethra but before you undertake any self treatment you need to see a specialist.

This is actually a common problem as people get older. It happens with both men and women, although it can also be a sign of prostate problems in men. You should see a doctor as soon as possible; this problem is usually treatable with medication, but it will worsen if left alone.
