Today's dentists are aware of people's fears and will do everything they can to make you feel safe. Get your teeth fixed. You'll be happy you did.
If you have bad teeth but are afraid of dentists, you should go to a dentist that does conscious sedation. Also, you might see an accupuncturist.
Brush your teeth thrice a day and take a clove and place it on the tooth which is causing pain. Your pain will start diminishing, as clove has got a medicinal value that cures tooth ache.
Inform your dentist of this and in some cases the dentist can provide you with a sedative-type gas, Valium or a similiar depressant prior to the dental work.
Try visiting your regular doctor first and seeing if they will give you a prescription for Valium to ease your anxiety when you visit the dentist.
You shouldn't make up excuses. The only real solution is to face your fear of dentists. Otherwise you've just got another latent problem that isn't solved.
