What should I do about sudden onset of dry mouth?

Dry mouth is medically termed as xerostomia. To cure dry mouth avoid alcohol and smoking. Brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste and maintain regular dental visits.

Most likly you have allowed yourself to get dehydrated. Suddenly your body feels it. Is your nose blocked up?? Are you breathing through your mouth? Have a blood glucose test.

You must have a water available on hand. Or a piece of sugarless candy will help alleviate dry mouth. Rehydrating more often will minimize the occurence of dry mouth.
