This thing is not moving anywhere until you can get it back in gear. Actually you will have to move it probably to take it to the shop. It is time to get ready for some pushing and lifting.

You should call a service man out to look at it they have a lot of little parts that make them work and a service tech would know how to take it apart and fix it for you without breaking anything on you and it will probably be cheaper doing it that way also.

You can start by checking the clutch linkage, making sure that it is connected. Spray the gears with an oil based lube to remove dirt and debris.

Well if it stopped and stuck in gear, then try restarting it. If not then you know there is some kind of part defect.

unscrew the top cover and get wd40 and begin to synchronize and grease up the gear heads be careful because the gears are so close together it can get mixed up and broken all the gears are close together so untie the gears at the same time with caution and patience.

You might have to take apart the lawn mower and inspect it. If you do not have much knowledge of the motor, you might want to take it to go get repaired.

Shut the mower off and apply the clutch. At this point with your foot on the brake take the mower out of gear. This should fix it.
