This could be a pinched nerve. Try taking a pain reliever like aspirin. Or, if its a topical pain, not internal, arm pit pain in women can be from razor burn or other irritation associated with shaving. Another possibility is an allergic reaction to a new deodorant or anti-perspirant. Try washing the product off with soap you normally use.

Arm pit pain could come from a variety of sources. Try applying cold compress to it, and take some pain relievers. If it doesn't go away, it might be serious.

It can be serious. It can be the lymph nodes under the arm that are inflamed causing pain. You should have a doctor do a ct scan just to determine the severity of it. The most common treatment for swollen lymph nodes are antibiotics. You can take advil, ibuprofen, tyenol over the counter medications to help ease the pain.

A lot of the time people have armpit pain when they are having an allergic reaction to the type of deodorant they use. You should switch deodorants and if the pain persists then go to see a doctor.
