I have had air in my pipes several times after the pipes were worked on. The way you get rid of it is to bleed it off by running the water long enough that those pockets of air get out of the pipes.

There is not much that you can do about that because the air is not generated from home. Here is one simple thing to do, before you start using your pipes just go to any of the bathrooms, turn on the pipe in the bathtub, and release the pressure.

Call the plumber. Close main inlet connections. Open all outlet connections / taps / valves. First only air will start going. Slowly open main inlet connection. Water will start flowing smoothly.

the air will work itself out. it is a good idea to let the water flow slowly while removing the air.
