You should go see your doctor and have it removed with lazer surgery as soon as possible so that it does not rupture.

Size does matter. Unless its a large cyst causing some obstructive pathology,a simple renal cyst will not cause any harm. Presence of cysts in other organs like liver or pancreas may be an incidental finding in such patients. You can get a baseline renal function test done just to rule out any functional impairment.

Get sonography done and decide size of the cyst. Then get its biopsy done by a consultant surgeon to decide what the cyst is made up of. Finally get it removed surgically by an expert Urologist surgeon.

If it is a "simple" one then you probably require no treatment or observation. If it is extremely painful and you just cant take the pain, you should most likely go to your doctor and discuss your options. It will probably need to be examined to see what should be done.

You need not worry about the left kidney cyst as far as it is benign conditon. However, the condition of cyst is worse when some blood is present in it.
