When leaving your country consider the fact you will be completely on your own, if you have children will they settle away from friends and relatives some do not. What language will you have to learn and your living accomodation is it near schools, shops are there amenities. Will you have to buy a property or rent.

You should consider if the country you would be working in is safe, if you would have a support system to help you navigate beauraucratic paperwork, if the compensation is fair for the difference in cost of living, how long you would be working abroad, and if you are mentally prepared for the challenges of living embedded in another culture.

There are various factors that one should consider when leaving the country to work abroad. You should find out whether the people in that country speak English or other common languages that you understand as communication is important. Other than that, you should also consider the culture, living expenses, career prospect, number of years working abroad and your family.

Consider how easy it would be to get home quickly if you needed to. Make sure you've enough money to do so. Think about things you'll miss, even foods that you might not be able to get abroad, and take some with you or get them sent. Get a second opinion from a local before moving in anywhere.

Before considering working abroad you should first visit the location for an extended period. A lot of countries are fun for a visitor but very difficult to live and do business in because of cutural differences. One must understand the cost of living especially the very high cost of utilities like water, electricity etc.
