Salmonella is food poisening. The first thing to do, if possible, is to get your dog to a vet. If able, phone first. The vet may describe an action to taken immediately, such as steps to take that will cause the dog to throw up the contents of it's stomach and lessen the worsening of the condition.

The dog should be taken to the vet they have specific treatments for that. But I know the vet will want to know what the dog got into that it got Salmonella poisoning from it could cause other problems as well so the best advice you can get is to call the vet and explain to them what happened.
