What other than Limewire can I use to download music that is free?

Limewire does not work half the time, do you have other suggestions for free music downloads.

Legally I have to tell you that since now you can download songs for a dollar per song, downloading them for free is a no no. Though there are tricks on the internet to download directly from a site's database. Look it up on a search engine.

There are many other peer2peer programs available on the net. However, many of these programs contain viruses or download viruses when you start the program. Be sure to research and run a virus scan of any programs you download that you do not trust. Other p2p programs include: Shareaza, Kazaa, and Bearshare. Also, downloading music from the programs is illegal!

Filesharing via Limewire has been obsolete for some years, Bittorrent has replaced it. Take some time out to read up on bittorrent as it's similar to filesharing but better.

You can try Frostwire. Frostwire is nearly identical to limewire, but some may experience better results depending on what they are looking for.

I strictly recommend you using Limewire for music downloads. The other clients are Emule, utorrent, bittorrent, but they can download you a virus with your music :) Try to uninstall and than again install the Limewire. I think after this you will not have problems anymore. Good luck and have a nice party :)
