It is important to first get everyone involved by ensuring each individual has a role to play. Encourage creative presentation and setting a casual tone for interaction is advantageous as it gets the best out of people when in their comfort zone. Emphasis on strict time duration, as it is necessary to be able to communicate clearly yet quickly.

You can play a game which will make the groups communicate. You can get a white board and bran storm alternating questions from one person to another. Also, you can have each person present a different part of the project.

Everyone should have access to the entire teams e-mail and cell number and commit to check it daily. One person has to be in charge of sending out the e-mails or texts so there is no mess ups but everyone is to be equal participants in the team. The group must be awear of deadlines and equal participation for success.

A potential project could be to have the group teach others on a subject they're interested in using different presentation media. So for say a biology class, they would have to all understand the subject matter, but be creative as a group about how it is presented since they can't just stand and talk.

The group understanding why it was formed, what its goals are, how those goals are going to be accomplished. Being able to establish a leader from a concensus of the group and then everyone following that leader. The leader being able to delegate to its members what their assigned tasks will be and what he/she expects from each member.
