What kind of shoes should a baby wear in a crib?

Their is no need for shoes on a baby while they are in a crib. Babies generally have NO need for shoes until they start walking. Depending on the type of shoe this could cause a choking or strangling hazard and they really should never be left on the child unless under supervision.

A baby does not need to wear any shoes at all in bed. If the weather is cool the baby could wear a pair of socks. It is much healthier for the development of a baby's feet not to put shoes on them at all until the child can actually walk.
