You can use 100% silicone. Just make sure it's 100% silicone with NO mold inhibitors in it. The chemicals and additives used for mold prevention are quite toxic to fish. GE makes a good sealant for this purpose. Go ahead and seal all four corners while you are at it.

You will need aquarium 100% silicone sealant (DAP has one). Make sure you find out exactly where the leak is coming from by filling the tank up slowly with water, making sure everything is dry first. Mark it using something that can wipe off easily (without chemicals) and dump out the water allowing the tank to dry.

You need to use any 100% Non toxic sealant. There are some aquarium sealants available in local pet stores, or you can go to the hardware store for some.

Silicone is the best sealant to use on a leaky fish tank. Preparation and allowing the silicone time to dry are most important in making it water tight. I recommend 24hrs.

You need to make sure you don't use the wrong kind of sealant. You need a silicone sealant that is 100% non-toxic and you need to let it dry properly.

We can DAP sealant, which is 100% aquarium silicone sealant. If the tank is old we should consider it to replace. If leak is minor cut and scrape the portion.
