What kind of retailer sells small trailers?

If you are only going to use a trailer once in awhile, might I suggest you just rent one from Uhaul? It's probably a lot cheaper.

Many car rental places also carry small trailers. You should try: U-Haul, Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Alamo. Most of these companies offer hourly or daily rentals. You may be able to find some coupons on the Avis and Budget rentals websites.

Your local hardware store should have at least contacts for this kind of thing. Other wise the larger nationwide chains would be able to supply you with something. If you wanted something more durable try the local builders merchant or even mechanics. Sometimes the rental companies tend to of load trailers for cheap.(excuse the pun)

Check out your local bug box home improvement store such as Lowes and Home Depot. Many sell a trailer that is great for those little jobs but more economical than renting one.
