What kind of gear do I need to catch a tuna?

Well that would depend if you were going out a lone or if you were going out as a group. You use the next system that major fisherman use or you would need a pretty sturdy fishing rod and reel since tuna can become very large.

You need a tuna boat and a tuna net. The net has to be strong enough to lift the fish. The net is lowered into the water and then dragged behind the boat. It gathers the tuna in the net. Sometimes others things are caught in the net as well. Once you reel in the net, you can sort it.

You will of course need a fishing pole and a hook to catch the tuna on. Most fishers get fish bate that will make the fish come up for a treat and get hooked instead.
