What kind of flower arrangements should you send for a baby?

Pastel flowers are always nice. Maybe some lilies because they represent rebirth. Perhaps some daises because they are fresh and new. You could send delicate pink flowers for a girl and blue for a boy. Your florist will give you some ideas and help you put together a baby's bouquet.

For a girl send flowers that have pinks and purples in them. For a boy you can get carnations that have been sprayed blue or other blue and white flowers. These arrangements often come in nice vases with a balloon and other accents.

I would send something small, they may be getting a lot of flowers and hostpital rooms are not large. Also something that does not smell very strongly, new mothers have very sensative noses.
