This plant can tolerate full sun and sparse watering. Those fleshy leaves store water so letting the soil completely dry out is not a problem. Just don't go overboard and allow puckering to appear on the leaves. If full sun is unavailable, find the brightest spot you can and watch the watering to avoid root rot.

Because it is a succulent, it requires lots of light. It should also be watered at regular intervals during the growing season, keeping everything but the top inch of soil moderately moist. It should also be fertilized. In the winter, it prefers to have drier soil, less light, and no fertilizer.

Let the soil dry out between watering and make sure it's never sitting in water. It likes bright sunlight but it can tolerate partial shade as well.

Use a soaker hose to water when it is growing and when dormant in the winter do not water. They need lots of bright sunlight.

It has to haev the bright morning sun but not the hot burning afternoon sun or it won't make it As far as watering you need to water it deeply then let the soil dry out before you watre it again.
