The treatment for a dog with an enlarged heart is a rather limited one. First I must say that there is no cure for an enlarged heart in dogs but you can treat it with medications such as Digoxin, ACE Inhibitors, and diuretics.

Although there is no cure for this, there are medications that can be prescribed for healthier heart and kidneys. There are also diets that your dog can be put on to promote a longer life.
