The white in a White Russian is half and half. First put your ice in your glass. Then you put about two ounces of Vodka and an ounce of Kahlua into the glass with your ice. Then finally you add two or three of those little half and half cups on top or a splash of half and half.

In the drink known as a White Russian, the drink is traditionally composed of a old fashioned glass full of Ice with Vodka, Kahlua (or sometimes another similar coffee liquor such as Tia Maria). The white in a white Russian is usually cream, or may sometimes be substituted with milk, half and half and rarely Irish cream.

Well a basic white Russian has 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of coffee liqueur(usually Kahlua), and milk or cream(the white part).
