You should take him into the vet just to make sure that he does not have any type of infection going on, especially if it happened inside his kennel where there could be bacteria from feces. Otherwise, keep the area clean from dirt and it will heal on its own.

Keep the area cleaned and wrapped up to avoid any case of infection. If it become swollen or infected take him to the Vet.
