There's no standard cost rate for mop roofs. Your cost will depend on: 1. Quality of your chosen products 2. method you use to do your roof coating 3. Labour and miscellaneous costs. How thick do you want it? Jalaine and MB have given you pretty good estimates

Hot mops are cheaper than Torch Down roofs. The biggest advantage is that you can use it over a large area and you could also save on repairs - Hot Mop roofs can be spot repaired at only damaged places. So you'll need to include that in your calculations!

Yup - cheaper and definitely inferior to Torch Down. Hot Mops crack and cause undetectable leaks quite often. So be careful and make sure you ask your roofer how to prevent this. Putting it on is not very difficult and you can infact do it yourself and save some cash.  add a comment

This is going to vary by the method you use to coat your roof. A roofer will charge quite a bit, but it is a easy process that you can do yourself. A rough estimate would be $800 for your average roofer job, $300 if you do it yourself.

The final cost per square foot will depend on the quality of roofing supplies you choose. You can expect to pay $17 to $20 per square foot to replace your roof.

I've been considering Calgary roof repair for some time now. My main concern is time, and this has really helped me settle on doing it professionally. I just don't have the time to take care of it personally.  add a comment

it will cost higher because the type of material used will be costing higher when compared to the ordinary roofing. this kind of roof can be made of SBS sheets.
