Matzo (or matzoh, or matzah) can keep for a really long time. They're a kind of unleavened cracker, so there really isn't much to go bad. If they're kept in sealed plastic (to keep pests out, and to prevent them from getting stale) they can be stored for at least 4 years.

I just had some 2007 that was unsealed (3 yrs old). Tasted fine. Will be cracking the 2004 (sealed) this passover to see how it tastes  add a comment

Not my experience. This morning I opened a box that was given me, planning to make matzo brie. It smelled off as soon as I broke open the plastic seal. I threw it out. The date on the box was 2012.  add a comment

I heard it's something like 2 to 2 1/2 years. A pretty good option for your emergency food pantry.

about two years. Aging matzo (aka matzah) can be freshened by putting it in the oven at 250ยบ for about five minutes. Of course you can use it before it gets stale. It makes great turkey stuffing, it is also good crumbled in soup, and matzah kugel is always a winner!

Matzo, a jewish type of cracker, is enjoyed mostly during Passover in the Jewish religion. Its shelf life is of about 2. 5 years but can be easily brought back to life by reheating it in the oven at 250 for about 5 minutes if and when it does get stale.

Matzo can last a month or two in the packaging so long as it is not opened. This is because matzo has very little water in it and to keep it kosher it's exposure to water is strictly controlled. Open a box will last about 1 to 2 weeks.
