What is the safety rating on an '03 Alero?

The safety ratings on this car are pretty good. All 4 and 5 stars except with side car impacts. Those garnered 3 stars. The only 1 star was for the 2DR model with a side impact. Overall, I would suggest the 4DR model since you have kids.

Both the four door and the two have at least a three star rating in all the test except for the driver side impact. On the two door model this rating was only a one. Full testing results can be viewed on the government's Safecar website.

Safety rating is low for this car , if i have kids i will not buy this car i will prefer a big car with more airbags than this and with a higher safety rating . I think that this car is for young people , also oldsmobile is not my favourite brand for cars

Well with kids and a car its an okay car if you do not want is stolen, but crash rating wise its average for is year and sedans.
