Mirassou Pinot Noir is of very high quality and goes down very nicely. It goes good with pasta and other Italian dishes.

It is a medium quality Pinot Noir from the north of California. Any Pinot Noir under a fifty dollar price range, as is the case with this wine, will present a slightly "oily" mouthfeel and be a bit unabalnced. By unbalanced I am referring to a slighly "hot", alcohol feel in the mouth. Drink with any gamey meat.
