Answer by  John (9008)

It is "peoples. " Thus, "all the peoples of the Earth" is an acceptable usage. "Persons" carries a slightly different connotation, and refers more to individuals, while "peoples" refers to groups.

The word "people" is itself a plural form. The singular form of the same word would be "person. " "Persons" is an alternate form.
