Driving with a suspended license a second time is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail and $2,500 in fines.

I don't have that portion of the book in front of me for details, but a "second suspension" warrants either extension of time, a year of revocation, or permanent loss of reminiscence. It depends on the judge at trial and the conditions of suspension.

The maximum penalty for a first offense is a jail sentence of 6 months, and a license suspension for the same period for which it had been previously suspended.
