What is the normal range for an RA factor?

Normal RA factors obtained by the nephelometric method is uder 50u/ml and if by the agglutination method is 1:80 titer. Be aware you can have RA with normal RA factors.

The normal range for an RA factor is 0 -20 but different labs follow different techniques of interpreting the result. Anything above this range shows high rheumatoid factor. So if you have done the tests it is better to take the reports and show it to your concerned doctor and he will give you advise.
