Mechanical wise, maybe a motor, head, or trans. Body damage I would say a rear quarter as far as labor would go...

The most expensive parts to replace on a car is the engine, transmission, and the total power train. You can purchase additiona coverage if your vehicle is newer. However, you are looking at spending a few thousand dollars for replacement parts or to rebuild the existing parts on the vehicle. Use good judgement. It can be costly fast.

I'd say probably hands down the engine or engine related parts. The transmission can also be costly as well as brakes, rotors, and general framework. Most of these costly repairs can be prevented by keep good care of your car, keeping up on maintenance and replacing fluids in a timely manner.

It depends on what the repair is and what parts are needed. It will also depend on what kind of vehicle the repair is being done on. Generally speaking it is the labor that is the most expensive part of a vehicle repair. General questions about repairs are impossible to answer.

It kind of depends on what car you have. For most vehicles a new engine or transmission is the most expensive part of a car. Some cars, Dodge Vipers for example have expensive body componets. The hoods can go for over $10,000 alone, which is about how much the engines are.

That is really impossible to answer. The answer is not only hard to find for a single car but just because it is for that car it wouldn't be for another. I would say that generally the engine as a whole is the most expensive. It typically cost the most to repair or replace in most cars.

The most expensive parts on a car to repair first off would be items in the drivetrain. Examples are your engine, transmission, rear-end. Some of the newer vehicles have alot of electronic compnents that can be very expensive like a computer board, brake control, or any electronic sensor for that matter

This will vary from car to car. Typically the MOST expensive would be the engine itself but in some cases these days the transmission runs a close second as far as cost.

That largely depends on year, make and model. Most commonly, enginges and transmission repairs are most costly. Electrical components and computer chip directed items are the 2nd most expensive.
