"Jehovah" as found in the King James Bible, refers to a proper name of God in Hebrew scripture. Different versions of the Bible translate the original text to actually read as "Yahweh" instead of "Jehovah", and in the more recent versions of the King James Bible, "Lord" or "LORD" has replaced "Yahweh" in several spots.

Jehovah is Hebrew for "I am". The name can also be translated as "Yahweh" because in the original Hebrew, only the consonants are written.
