The Latin translation of "sinner" depends on the gender of the individual you're referring to. A male sinner would be a "peccator", and a female sinner would be a "peccatrix". (The genitive forms would be peccatoris and peccatricis respectively. ) Also note that these words refer specifically to the idea of a sin against God, and not simply a wrongdoer.

If the sinner in question is masculine, the word would be peccator. If the sinner in question is feminine, the word would be peccatrix. The verb (to sin) is peccare.
