In 1930, an 11. 3 m (37 ft) great white shark was reportedly caught in New Brunswick, Canada. However, this catching is though to be a case of mistaken identity. Almost all of the great white sharks that have ever been caught have been between 7. 5 and 10 metres (25–33 ft).
