Question by  ashleysisson (33)

What is the largest gauge available for nipple piercing?

I currently have a 20 gauge piercing but would like to go bigger. Can I get an 18 or 16 gauge?

Nipple piercings should not be less than 14g. If one wishes a larger gauge, simply insert the next larger gauge through the piercing and allow the skin to stretch and adjust. Over time, people have stretched thier nipple piercings up the a 4g. As a rule, any piercing larger than that are measured in millimeters.

The size of piercings is proportional of the size of nipple iff you have a big nepple you can start with 4gauge and stretch to 00g and more! Search google: Nepple Piercing 0g ore go to BME Piercings  add a comment

14 is the biggest for nipples that is safe. A 16 and 18 are safe, just no bigger than a 14, or else you run the the risk of complications. Serious infections can occur and then you run the risk of accidentally pulling it out. I'm sure they go up to 00 some places but they aren't safe.

I have 4g in both nips. I have the jewelry for 2g, 0g, and 00g as soon as I have courage enough to make the jumps. The difference in diameters as you get to this level are a bit intimidating. But tantalizing.

The largest size for any piercing is 00 gauge, but that may be pretty extreme for a nipple. 18 and 16 gauges are readily available. If you feel like pushing the limit further you can go as high as 14 or a 12 gauge. It's best to work your way up over time so you don't tear anything.

As far as I know, an eighteen or a sixteen gauge is pretty typical for nipple piercings so you'd be fine. You can go up to a fourteen gauge if you wanted to but it isn't generally recommended to go any bigger because you start to risk serious infection.

they should not be pierced smaller than 12 as this risks migration. depending on nipple size you could be pierced up to maybe 8. the bigger you go the more durable the piercing will be, and more fun.  add a comment

The largest I have heard of is a 4 gauge, but the safest and largest I suggest is a 14. I am sure with some time you can easily go from a 20 gauge to an 18 or 16 gauge. I am sure you know, but the bigger the gauge you get-bigger the risk of infection. Be safe!

I think it will be better that you can use 16 gauge piercing since the holes will be slightly bigger than normal and the liquid will be flowing so easily to the child and the child will drink quickly than usual But you should have a flow control for the liquid.
