There is no established "ideal weight" for models. A healthy weight is a recommended range of weight that considers age, height and frame. Models, for the most part, are very thin, often too thin. Many have eating disorders as a result of the pressure to be thin, which has led to much criticism of the industry.

The ideal weight depends on the height and therefore the BMI. A model's BMI is usually around 17, which is very small. For example, a 5'7" woman would have to weight 105.

Models often weigh about 108-125 pounds, depending on their height. However, many models are underweight and practice unsafe eating disorders.

Most models are VERY thin. They usually weigh less than 120 pounds. The ideal body weight for a model depends on her height, but there should be no fat at all in her appearance.

The ideal body weight for models has to be around the 110-120 range. As a model you cannot be overweight in any way or people will complain left and right. If you are too skinning people will think you are starving yourself. In order to please people you will need to be in this weight range.
