Yes, they believe this, based on the literal understanding of some verses from book of Revelation, eg. Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel (Rev 4,7).

Witnesses believe that God has chosen 144,000 people, all Witnesses born between 1879 and 1935, to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. Other believers will live in an earthly Paradise.

Only 144,000 will go to heaven to help God and Jesus rule. The rest of the righteous will remain on earth to enjoy the new paradise where everything is good.

Apparently the scriptures talk about the 144,000 people God and Jesus will take to Heaven to help them rule while the rest of the righteous will remain on Earth to enjoy a second age of paradise. This is all from the text of Rev 7:4 and then Rev 7:9 talks about this group again.

This is based on text such as Rev 7:4 and others that mention this number in connection with those who are going to heaven. How ever they do not believe that only this group gets saved.Rev 7:9 also mention another group of people who will live on the earth forever.

Yes, all the rest of world are part of the great crowd. God is going to return the earth to a paradise which was his original intent for mankind before Adam and Eve sinned. The 144,000 will rule in heaven with Jesus Christ.

According to Revelations 7:1-9, 12,000 members of each of the 12 tribes of Israel will go to Heaven. Jehovah's Witnesses take this literally and believe that God has already chosen 144,000 people who will reside in Heaven with him. At the end times, the earth will return to an Eden-like state, and the excluded faithful will spend eternity on Earth.

That is correct. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the term for the many chosen selected to go to Heaven in the Bible is the 144,000 value, and that they will only be Jehovah's Witnesses.
