'Downfall' is about the last ten days of Adolf Hitler's rule of Germany in April 1945, and culminates in the Fuhrer's suicide. The film is set in Hitler's command bunker beneath Berlin, with Soviet forces approaching the capital. It's based partly on the personal account of Traudl Junge, a secretary to Hitler.

The 2004 movie "Downfall" is about the last days of Adolf Hitler. It explores the last 10 days of his life in 1945 as he was hiding in a bunker at the end of World War 2. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
